Information you provide: • Name, email address, phone number • Location • Profile photo • Ghana Card details (for Professional verification only) • Trade certificates and business registration documents (for Professional verification only) • Job descriptions, bids, messages, and reviews • Payment information (processed by Paystack — we do not store card or Mobile Money details) • Name, phone number or email, neighborhood, and optional message when submitting an area expansion request Information collected automatically: • Device type and browser information • IP address • Pages visited and features used • Date and time of access

We use your information to: • Create and manage your account • Facilitate job posting, bidding, and communication between users • Process payments securely through Paystack • Verify Professional identity and credentials • Send job notifications and platform updates (via SMS, email, or push notification) • Resolve disputes between users • Improve the Platform and user experience • Prioritise neighbourhood expansion based on area request demand • Comply with legal obligations

We do NOT sell your personal information to third parties. We may share your information with: • Other users as necessary to facilitate services (e.g., your name and contact details with a Professional you hire) • Paystack for payment processing • Arkesel for SMS notifications • Law enforcement if required by law or court order • Our verification team for Professional identity checks Area expansion request data (name, contact, neighbourhood) is stored in our database and used solely for internal planning. It is not shared with third parties.

We implement appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your personal information, including: • Encryption of data in transit (HTTPS/SSL) • Encrypted database storage (MongoDB Atlas) • Access controls and role-based permissions • Regular security audits • Secure document storage with time-limited access URLs

Ghana Card images and personal identification documents submitted for Professional verification are: • Stored securely with restricted access • Accessible only by authorised verification personnel • Never displayed publicly to other users • Protected by time-limited signed URLs (documents cannot be accessed via permanent links) • Retained only for as long as the Professional maintains an active account

DirectWayzGH is not intended for use by individuals under 18 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
